the infamous Guild Hall Glitch
When did it occur? How long was the exploit available? And lastly, why do some people make such a big deal about it?
It gave rise to a tiny handful of presearing nobility through opportunistic action. However, it seems that these barons of Ascalon prefer spending the majority of the day dancing on the stairs over slaying Charr. Since presearing of late is more of a social club than a training ground, does having a max damage weapon or a minor rune really impact the aggregate economy? |

It was fixed in the last update. It didn't make any difference in the game, but it was a bug all the same.

In the last update? lol It was fixed nearly six months ago. I think it was abused for about two weeks (just guessing) before a patch took care of it.
And yeah, in the grand scheme of things it makes absolutely no difference play-wise to anybody who did not participate in the naughtiness. They have some extra goodies in pre-sear now. Kind of like being King of Kindergarten. |
